In the third quarter of 2023, the majority of all American Netflix users preferred watching original TV programs. Gen X and Gen Z consumers were the most likely generations to enjoy this type of content the most. Other originals, such as films, documentaries, and comedy specials, came second in the ranking of most enjoyed viewing content on Netflix.
