In 2020, Tonga and Samoa had the highest share of girls aged under 20 years who were overweight or obese in the world. In Tonga, 72 percent of girls had a high body mass index (BMI), while in Samoa, 66 percent of girls had a high BMI. This statistic shows the percentage of girls aged under 20 years worldwide who were overweight or obese in 2020.
