In 2024, the Players Championship had the highest prize fund out of any event on the PGA Tour, at 25 million U.S. dollars. Of this amount, the winner received 4.5 million U.S. dollars. Meanwhile, the Masters Tournament had an overall prize fund of 20 million U.S. dollars.
