In 2023, there were 188 freight aircraft designated for domestic courier services in China, representing a substantial increase of more than 16 percent from the previous year. In 2022, the country's courier companies delivered 16 times more parcels than they did a decade ago, thanks to the rapid growth of the country's online retail sector.
