In 2024, a significant share of C-level executives stated that network security for protection against cyberattacks should be provided as a service while purchasing a cyber insurance policy. The proportion of experienced professionals who perceived network security as an essential component of insurance solutions was 66 percent. Other services that were viewed as important parts of insurance solutions were having a backup of critical systems and anti-malware tools as a part of the policy.
