The commercial property price index in the Netherlands for retail buildings showed an upward trend between 2015 and 2023. The index measures the development of prices, with 2015 as a baseline year. A value of 120 indicates a price increase of 20 percent. As of the second quarter of 2023, the retail building price index hit its highest value, at 128.7 points, which shows an increasing demand for retail properties in the country.
