Among Central and Eastern European countries, Hungary recorded the highest share of companies setting and monitoring greenhouse gas emission targets in 2022, at 53 percent, which was above the EU-27 average. The share of businesses setting greenhouse gas emission targets was the lowest in Bulgaria, measured at 22 percent.
