Share of companies investing in energy efficiency in CEE 2022, by country

In 2022, three CEE countries a recorded higher share of businesses investing in energy efficiency than the EU average. Hungary and Slovenia ranked first, with approximately 58 percent of companies having invested in energy efficiency measures as of 2022. In comparison, only 22 percent of Bulgarian firms took measures towards improving energy efficiency.
