Poland recorded by far the highest greenhouse gas emission volume from electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning in 2022, totaling over 141 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. Czechia and Bulgaria followed in the ranking with emission volumes of 41.76 million and 26.2 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent, respectively.
