According to a March 2024 survey conducted by Rakuten Insight, the majority of respondents in Vietnam across all ages have used a shared mobility services such as ride-hailing, car-pooling, and bike-sharing because they were convenient and reliable. In contrast, among 12 percent of respondents aged 55 years and above, such services were popular because they do not have their own cars.
