According to a survey by Infocus Mekong conducted in January 2024, 35 percent of urban respondents and 19 percent of rural respondents in Vietnam intended to spend their money on domestic holiday. By comparison, around 14 percent of urban respondents and three percent of rural respondents would spend on an overseas vacation.
