Australia: consumer support for a ban on certain plastic products 2024

With Australians becoming more concerned regarding the negatives effects of their single-use plastic consumption, just over 60 percent of consumers across Australia surveyed in April 2024 said they would support a ban on the use of disposable coffee cups. Additionally, around 57 percent of respondents indicated they would back a ban on condiment sachets and coffee machine capsules.
