According to a survey by Infocus Mekong conducted in January 2024, 48 percent of southern and 36 percent of northern respondents in Vietnam believed that the economy would worsen compared to 2023. On the other hand, 31 percent of southern and 40 percent of northern respondents held optimistic views regarding the economic outlook for the current year.
