According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in March 2024, about 47.7 percent of male respondents stated that the main reason for not using shared mobility services in South Korea was because they preferred using their own vehicles. On the other hand, around 34.8 percent of female respondents did not use shared mobility services because they did not feel safe.
