According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in March 2024, about 59.3 percent of respondents aged 55 years or older stated that the main reason for using shared mobility services in South Korea was because they were convenient and reliable. Respondents in other age groups answered the same, although nearly 41 percent of respondents aged between 16 and 24 favored the late-hours availability as well.
