In 2022, around three out of five hearing care professionals from the private sector in the United Kingdom perceived the lack of patient's confidence in using technology as extreme or moderate barriers to the delivery of telehealth. Meanwhile, only around five percent of the surveyed audiologists viewed their own lack of confidence as a potential barrier.
