According to a survey from Rakuten Insight conducted in February 2024 in Asia, 22 percent of the respondents from India consumed only plant-based food, which was by far the largest percentage in the region. In comparison, nine percent of the surveyed consumers from the Philippines and Vietnam each indicated a plant-based-only diet as of February of the same year.
