Ratio of people with savings in Turkey 2019-2023

As of the second quarter of 2023, about 25 percent of the Turkish people claimed that they have savings of different sorts, according to the results of a quarterly survey. Between the first quarter of 2019 and the second quarter of 2023, the ratio of people who have saving in Turkey fluctuated.

• Monetary amount of securities such as stocks, treasury bills, government bonds held in banks and/or intermediary institutions

• Investment accounts and participation funds in banks • Private retirement funds

• The part of the amount in TL or foreign currency in the current account / liquid fund in banks that is not / will not be spent within that month

• The part of the money (including foreign currency and gold) in your wallet, safe, or under your pillow that is not/will not be spent during that month.
