In 2023, approximately 40 percent of Italian millennials, meaning those born between 1980 and 1994, stated in our survey on the subject of "Regularly consumed groceries" that they regularly consume snacks and potato chips. By comparison, among the baby boomer generation, meaning those born between 1946 and 1964, the share of those who regularly consume snacks and chips was 24 percent.
