An estimated one million sports cars were projected to be sold across the globe in 2023. This volume is forecast to reach around 1.1 million sales by 2028. The sports car market was estimated to have declined between 2015 and 2020, but sales picked back up after the COVID-19 pandemic.

All key figures shown represent the sales of new sports cars in the basic configuration in the respective year.
