According to a 2024 survey of cybersecurity professionals, firewalls were the main measure used by companies worldwide to monitor the security of their applications, as highlighted by 56 percent of respondents. In addition, half of respondents stated that they actively monitored applications running in production to collect and respond to threat intelligence. By contrast, only one-fourth of respondents mentioned using code signing in the deployment of their applications.
