In 2023, a survey revealed that a significant share of U.S. consumers feel uncomfortable about AI-generated content being on streaming services, with over one fourth of people interviewed expressing discomfort. On the other hand, 27 percent of respondents were comfortable with AI-generated content, with 17 percent being just comfortable and 10 percent very comfortable. Additionally, around one in five respondents felt unsure about AI content being available on the streaming platforms they subscribe to.
