According to a July 2023 survey of digital users in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, 36 percent of respondents reported they would replace their physical copy of their driving license with a smartphone-based one. Additionally, 30 percent of respondents reported they would give the details of their passport via mobile when going through passport control to provide their identity.
