In 2023, the most sustainable medium-sized company in Germany was Elobau, which produces sensory technology. Rapunzel Naturkost and STEICO were ranked second and third respectively.
Ranking of the most sustainable medium-sized companies in Germany in 2023, according to ESG
On behalf of WirtschaftsWoche, the consultancy Munich Strategy examined which German medium-sized companies are pioneers in the areas of ecology, social issues and fair corporate governance (ESG). To achieve this, the specialists analyzed the initiatives of around 4,000 medium-sized companies in a multi-stage analysis process. A specially developed “SustainabilityScore” evaluates the commitment based on three groups of criteria: ESG perception, ESG documentation and ESG implementation.
