According to a 2023 survey conducted in Australia regarding ethical and sustainable consumption habits, around 22 percent of respondents indicated they engaged with news and other information sources regarding ethical consumption at least once a week. Around a quarter of those surveyed indicated never having engaged with news and information sources on ethical consumption; nonetheless, this showed an improvement in engagement levels from 2021, in which 32 percent of respondents reported no engagement.
