China, India, and the UAE were all close behind, with over 80 percent of respondents claiming exploration or deployment of AI. Western countries, in particular European mainland nations such as France, Germany, and Italy, had the highest rate of non-usage or no exploration of AI, though even the U.S. had a similar share of enterprises not engaged with AI. This may reflect the specialized industries that thrive in those countries, needing individualized human skills to operate.
