According to a March 2024 survey conducted by Rakuten Insight, the majority of respondents in the Philippines across all ages said that they have not used a shared mobility services such as ride-hailing, car-pooling, and bike-sharing because those were not yet available in their area. In addition, respondents between the age of 45 and above said they prefer to use their own vehicles.
