In 2019, the country experienced 133 bombings, whereas the lowest number was experienced in 2021 with 79 entire confirmed explosive attacks.

The attempts and preparations for explosions are separate from the detonations that took place.
It was first in 2018 that statistics on the criminal law "Devastation causing public danger" (allmänfarlig ödeläggelse) through explosions were documented.
