Investment preferences of youth in India 2023

According to a June 2023 survey among Indian youth regarding their investment preferences, savings accounts emerged as the top choice for both Millennials and Gen Z, with 57 percent of Millennials and 54 percent of Gen Z favoring them. Furthermore, millennials showed a preference for fixed deposits and mutual funds, while Gen Z tended towards stocks and cryptocurrencies, indicating a greater risk-taking nature among the younger generation.
