Get in touch with us nowAs of April 19, 2024, there were approximately 520,360 green housing units certified by the national green building standard (NGBS) in the United States. New multifamily housing makes up most of those figures. Part of the reason why is that each multifamily building includes several housing units. If the multifamily buildings were considered instead of counting each apartment, that number would be smaller than the number of single-family homes. The NGBS is a certificate focused on green residential buildings in the United States.
