In a survey conducted between December 2023 and January 2024 among Indian respondents, the BJP-led NDA is projected to sweep major regions in North, East, and West India. But the southern states show a preference for the Opposition Congress or INDIA bloc. States like Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh are projected to go with BJP. The survey considers West Bengal to be the surprise state where BJP is likely to win 19 seats out of 42 and TMC 22 seats. The poll predicted NDA bagging more than 300 seats and the INDIA bloc getting 166 seats.
