Seat projection of political alliances during elections India 2024, by region

In a survey conducted between December 2023 and January 2024 among Indian respondents, it was found that out of the total of 180 seats in North India, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is projected to win 154 seats and the opposition INDIA bloc was estimated to win 25 seats. As per estimates, the NDA is projected to sweep major regions in North, East, and West India. But the southern states show a preference for the Opposition INDIA bloc.
