At the end of 2023, Google implemented the Search Generated Experience (SGE), where users would get AI-powered snapshots about a topic. This was not the case for every industry, as 70 percent of queries about healthcare topics collapsed. In turn, AI-generated answers were available for 91 percent of entertainment queries.
