Attitude towards vaccines in Germany 2018-2022

The share of individuals in Germany who felt vaccines were important for children and safe declined noticeably in 2022 compared to 2020. In particular, almost 93 percent of respondents agreed vaccines were important for children in 2020, but this dropped to only 83.5 percent in 2022. The compatibility of vaccines with religious or personal beliefs according to the German public gradually increased over the time.
