The sports industry plays a large role in public life, from fans following their local football team to fitness freaks hitting the gym to stay in shape. However, the industry is often plagued with controversies, especially in the professional sports sector. During a global survey in 2024, around two-thirds of respondents from the Asia Pacific region stated that they had a positive view of people who worked in the sports industry.
