The Development and Well-Being Assessment (DAWBA) eating disorder module was utilized to detect eating disorders in children and young individuals. This standardized diagnostic tool covers various mental health conditions and gathers information from multiple sources. It includes inquiries about eating habits, concerns about eating, and the emotional state of the individual. Additionally, questions about weight, recent feelings and behaviors, and menstrual cycle (for girls and young women) were included. Clinical raters reviewed responses from parents, young people, and children, assigning diagnoses according to the International Classification of Disease (ICD10) criteria.Â
