According to a survey ended February 2024, one in five employed adults in the United States reported using ChatGPT for work-related activities during the analyzed period. Similarly, 17 percent of responding adults stated using the generative artificial intelligence (GAI) software for learning something new or for pure entertainment. However, the increase in ChatGPT usage was more pronounced for professional activities.
