The volume of greenhouse gas emissions from stationary installations operating in CEE countries under the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) decreased by 14 percent between 2013 and 2022. Stationary installations in Poland have recorded the highest emission volumes over the observed period, totaling 184 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalent in 2022.
