The results of a survey held in May 2023 found that when it came to misinformation about certain topics, the UK's older population were most concerned about health and medical information, with 36 percent saying they were worried about falsehoods or inaccuracies on the subject. Climate change misinformation was less worrying for this demographic, whereas almost a third said they were worried about wrong information about UK politics and society.
