Overall, corruption has had a severe impact on the country, which has led to economic loss and inefficiency, among others.

Fraud includes recruiting and acquiring fabricated documents, and making payments to ghost employees (a fake person invented by deceitful staff members or a real person who is placed on payroll, with or without their knowledge).
Abuse of authority includes threatening whistle-blowers.
Maladministration includes mishandling and wasting resources.
Bribery and extortion include sextortion.
Procurement irregularities include claims of illegal payments as compensation for preferential treatment, and disregarding legal business processes.
