In 2023, 35 percent of management consultants who had been in the profession for roughly one year attended a Russell Group university in the United Kingdom. This figure was more than double that in 2011. There were only seven percent of young management consultants in the United Kingdom who did not attend university.

Participants represented firms of all sizes and specialization and all levels of consulting firms - from heads of consulting to senior partners, consultants, and analysts.
Russell Group universities are part of a self-selected association of 24 public research universities that are often considered the best in the UK. Oxbridge means Oxford or Cambridge university.
