Get in touch with us nowBetween 2019 and 2023, most of the cantonal building energy performance certificate updates in Switzerland had an energy efficiency rating of B or C. The share of certificate updates with a B rating was 27 percent. Whereas, most of the initial publication of certificates had an energy efficiency rating of either C or D, amounting to 46 percent of all initial certificates. However, it is important to note that, in contrast to other European countries, energy performance certificates are only mandatory in some cantons.
