Origin of TV programs on FTA channels in Portugal 2024

In Portugal, as of 2024, 67.6 percent of the total broadcasting duration of all free-to-air (FTA) channels concerned programs produced in national territory. Programs produced in other European Union member states occupied 8.3 percent of FTA broadcast time, while productions by other countries were featured 19 percent of the time. Joint productions made up almost three percent of FTA channels' broadcast.
