In Portugal, enterprises with television activities recorded a gross value added of almost 324 million euros in 2021, which continually increased during the period observed. Companies dedicated to the production of films, videos, and television programs registered the second highest gross value added in the television market, namely 129.5 million euros. Enterprises responsible for film, video, and television program distribution followed, with 10.9 million euros registered in the same year.
