Television penetration in Portugal 2023, by service type and family size
In Portugal, in 2023, the penetration rate of pay TV was higher in households with children, namely 95 percent versus 87 percent in households without children. Households with one adult and no children recorded the lowest pay TV penetration rate, 81 percent.
Digital terrestrial television (DTT) displayed a similar penetration rate in households with and without children, namely 32 and 34 percent, respectively.
