Brazil: dating and matchmaking app users by urbanity 2024

According to a survey ending January 2024, the majority of the online dating or matchmaking apps users in Brazil resided in large cities with populations between 100 thousand to one million inhabitants. Additionally, a fourth of local online dating users lived in Megacities with populations of over five million inhabitants, with a similar distribution of 15 percent of users residing either in medium-sized towns or cities with over one million inhabitants. In contrast, roughly 10 percent of users of local online dating users lived in rural communities or small towns altogether.
