The ranking assessed a range of key indicators, including company finances, investor expectations of growth, and business diversity. Microsoft was followed by California-based NVIDIA, which has seen a meteoric rise amid the surging demand for artificial intelligence (AI) chips.

Companies were ranked by the source according to the following criteria: Financial Fundamentals, Investor's Expectations of Future Growth, Employee Diversity/ESG, Research & Development, Early Results of Innovation, Business Diversity, and Cash & Debt.
