Most of the completed buildings constructed in 2022 had an energy performance certificate for CO2 emissions with a rating of A or B. Buildings with an A rating were the least CO2 emission intensive. Nevertheless, the energy performance of existing buildings in Spain was significantly worse than that of the new constructions.
