As of October 2023, a survey conducted on meat consumption in Thailand found that 44 percent of the respondents intended to reduce meat consumption with other proteins, for example, tofu, legumes, and pulses. Meanwhile, 29 percent of the survey participants stated that they would replace meat with meat-like alternatives.
