In a survey conducted in February 2024, 47 percent of Germans said that they had a very high interest in the EU elections take will take place on June 9, 2024. Almost 20 percent of voters for the FDP rated their interest as rather or very low.

The results are representative of the German population aged 18 and over. The long-term study questionnaire was based on, among other things, focus groups that were conducted in 2019 and 2021.
